Hi there! My name is Kaylyn, and I’m 13 years old. Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a sweet tooth and a passion for creating unique treats. My journey into the world of freeze-dried candy started with a simple curiosity and a love for experimenting.
It all began one Easter when my mom gave me freeze-dried candy as a special treat. I was fascinated by how a process could transform regular candies into crunchy, airy delights. I thought to myself, “Why not try this at home?” With a bit of research and some help from my mom, I got my hands on a small freeze-dryer.
My first experiment was with Jolly Ranchers. Watching them go from hard candies to light, crispy bites was like magic! I shared my creations with friends and family, and their reactions were overwhelmingly positive. They loved the unique texture and intensified flavors. That’s when the idea hit me – why not turn this hobby into a business?
I decided to name my venture Eskimo Bites The words Eskimo Bites perfectly captured the exciting and vibrant freeze-dried candies I wanted to offer. I started small, making batches of freeze-dried candies and selling them at local farmers’ markets and school events. The response was incredible, and I quickly realized there was a real demand for my products.
Running a business at 13 isn’t always easy. Balancing schoolwork, sports, and my candy business requires a lot of time management and dedication. But the joy of seeing people enjoy my creations makes it all worth it. I’ve learned so much about entrepreneurship, from marketing and packaging to customer service and budgeting.
My dream is to expand Eskimo Bites Freeze-Dried Candy and reach even more candy lovers. I’m constantly experimenting with new flavors and combinations (check out our different flavored skittles), always striving to create something unique and delicious. Who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll see my candies in stores all around the world!
Thanks for reading my story. If you ever get a chance to try freeze-dried candy, I hope it brings a smile to your face, just like it does for me.
